Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Haul 2020
Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Haul
I love getting new makeup, especially when it’s as pretty as Charlotte Tilbury! It’s been such a long time since I really splashed out and picked up some bits from Charlotte Tilbury. But, I was in need of a new bronzer and as she had just released a brand new one I thought I’d treat myself to that and a few other little things. Hope you all enjoy this Charlotte Tilbury makeup haul!
The brand new Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer was the main thing I wanted to get. I’d seen it splashed all over Instagram, it looked amazing and so many people were saying good things about it. I got the shade Tan, it was a tough choice between Tan and Medium but I do like my bronzer a little darker. Thankfully it was the right choice and is the perfect shade. It’s easily buildable so I can apply it lightly for a more subtle look or build it up for more intensity.
The bronzer was £39 which is pretty pricey but to be expected with Charlotte Tilbury. It was actually a lot bigger than I thought so I was very happily surprised by that. I feel like it’s going to last me quite a long time. I’m going to be writing a full review on the Airbrush Bronzer soon so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Magic Star Highlighter
I was 100% drawn in by the beautiful packaging of this highlighter. It’s so pretty and even the highlighter itself has a gorgeous pattern on it. I’m such a sucker for packaging haha. The Charlotte Magic Star Highlighter is a limited edition online exclusive that I couldn’t resist. I’m so glad they brought out a stand-alone highlighter, it’d definitely been a long time coming.
At £35 this highlighter is a gold-champagne colour that’s highly pigmented and gives you a radiant glow. I’ve only used it a couple of times but it seems to hold up all day and gives me a very healthy-looking glow. It’s definitely one that I’m going to be reaching for a lot. My only issue is that I don’t want to ruin the design of it!
Pillow Talk Intense Blusher
I’ve wanted to try out a Charlotte Tilbury Blusher for years but none of the shades available really called to me. Until I saw the Pillow Talk Intense Cheek to Chic Blush. Of course, I’m a big fan of the Pillow Talk collection, having owned and loved the lipstick and liner for years. It’s such a flattering shade for any skin tone.
Containing two shades, a dusky pink and a shimmering champagne pop in the middle this blusher gives a really wonderful, smooth and flawless finish. It’s such a pretty colour and it has a handy little built-in mirror so it’d perfect for when you’re on the go.
Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette
Along with the Pillow Talk blush I also picked up the Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette in a duo kit deal! I was so happy to see this deal. I got both the blush and the eyeshadow palette for only £56. Like with the blusher I’ve never actually tried an eyeshadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury. They just also seemed so expensive for such a tiny palette. But, as this was in the duo kit deal I couldn’t resist.
I’ve only used it the once so far but it’s so pretty. As I was applying it I thought it’d be the perfect palette for a wedding eye makeup look. The shades are subtle, shimmery and just stunning. It was really easy to apply, they blended so beautifully together and I feel like it really made my eyes pop. I don’t normally do a subtle/neutral eyeshadow look so this was a really nice change. It’d be a great palette to use for when I finally head back to the office too.
Scarlet Spell Lipstick
There was no way I could place a Charlotte Tilbury order without throwing in a lipstick! If you’ve followed me for a while you may know that Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are my number 1. I own so many of them, aside from eyeshadow palettes, they’re actually the biggest part of my collection. I’m always browsing the site looking for new shades I don’t have and that’s how I came across the Scarlet Spell Matte Revolution Lipstick.
Scarlet Spell was £25 and is another online exclusive. I was first drawn in by the little lipstick pattern on the lipstick itself, I thought that was adorable. And the colour is absolutely gorgeous! A red/berry matte lipstick is always going to be a winner for me. It’s such a perfect shade for autumn/winter. I have yet to actually try it yet, I always want to keep them looking as nice as possible for as long as possible. But, knowing Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks as I do, I’m confident it’s going to be amazing.
Along with my Charlotte Tilbury makeup haul, I also got several free samples, including two deluxe samples of the Brightening Youth Glow and the Magic Cream. I already own a full-size version of the Magic Cream but I’m always happy to receive more and I’m excited to try out the Youth Glow Primer.
That’s everything I picked up in my Charlotte Tilbury Makeup haul. Let me know in the comments if you own any of these products. While you’re here don’t forget to subscribe to Beauty and the Bookshelves. You can also follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest too. Thanks for reading!
