Glossybox March 2021 Unboxing

The Glossybox March 2021 was a fantastic box, easily my favourite one so far! After the February Glossybox was slightly disappointing, March certainly redeemed itself. This month’s theme was ‘Pretty Pleasures’ and featured 4 full-sized products and a ‘lucky dip’ product. Here’s everything that was included in the March box:

Beautaniq Beauty Nourishing Mascara

I was super excited when I found out we were getting mascara in this box. Obviously, I love trying out new makeup products, especially from a new brand. I’ve used this mascara a couple of times now and find it gives a very natural look. I wouldn’t say it’s volumising but it does separate the lashes nicely and give them a fluttery look about them. This mascara, which retails for £15.50, also contains conditioning ingredients like almond oil to really help nourish the lashes. While it’s probably not a mascara I’ll buy myself, I am enjoying using it for days where I want a more subtle makeup look.

Figs & Rouge Satin Soft Blurring Primer & Finishing Fix

This was the product I was most excited to try out this month. Designed to blur and minimise shine, this primer claims to have anti-blemish and pore minimising properties. Retailing at £38, I’ve loved using this primer and find it keeps my skin and my makeup looking smooth and matte for longer. It’s ideal for those with oily skin types and something I’d definitely recommend.

pore minimising and anti-blemish properties, skin impurities and breakouts are also reduced! Key ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid, which perfectly plumps and maintains moisture, as well as Marshmallow Root and Arctic Cloudberry Extracts which keep skin energised.

Nails Inc Palace Gardens Nails Polish

Another product I was thrilled to get this month, seriously it was just hit after hit with this box, was the Nails Inc nail polish! As I haven’t been able to get my nails done professionally since before my wedding last October, I’ve been having fun doing them myself so this product was very welcome. It’s a pretty dove great colour which I think is well suited to spring and retails for £11.

So Eco Complexion Sponge

I honestly don’t remember the last time I used a sponge to apply my foundation, just because, in general, I prefer using brushes as I find them easier. But, that said, I have been looking into getting a new sponge as sometimes I find it tricky to blend foundation around certain areas, like my nose, with a brush. This makeup sponge retails at £6 and claims to evenly blend makeup for a flawless, enhanced finish and is a very long-lasting product. While I haven’t used it yet, I’m definitely looking forward to giving it a go.

Skin Republic Prep + Glow Sheet Mask x Olivia Buckland

So, I’d seen all over Instagram loads of people received a product from NYX as their lucky dip. And, to be honest, when I realised I didn’t have a NYX product to try I was a little disappointed. But, I do love a sheet mask and I’ve been really enjoying paying more attention to my skincare routine this year, so I can’t really complain. Plus, I’m also a fan of Olivia Buckland so it’s all good. This mask retails for £4.99 and is infused with hydrating hyaluronic acid, plumping collagen and pomegranate extract.

Total value of box: £75.49

This box was honestly so great! I was impressed with every product in it and there wasn’t one thing that I wouldn’t use. The Glossybox March 2021 has definitely been my favourite so far. We’ve also received a sneak peek for April’s box too which includes an eyeshadow palette from a new beauty brand which I’m intrigued by.

I hope you all enjoyed this Glossybox March 2021 review. If you did then don’t forget to subscribe to Beauty and the Bookshelves. You can also follow me on InstagramTwitter and Pinterest too. Thanks for reading!
