Golden Pink Summer Makeup

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! I hope you’ve all had a good week and have managed to get out and enjoy the sunshine. As the UK is currently in a bit of a heatwave I felt inspired to create a golden pink, shimmery summer makeup look that’s super simple to do and looks really pretty!
Base:
Before applying any makeup I moisturised my face using the Vanishing Cream by Lush.
Then I primed using the Guerlain L’Or Radiance primer.
As usual, I used my beloved Kat Von D Lock It Foundation in the shade Cool 46.
I then concealed under my eyes and on any other blemishes with the Kat Von D Lock It Concealer.
Lastly, I set my face with the RCMA No Colour powder.
Eyes:
Starting off with my eyebrows I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Blonde.
I then primed my eyelids as always with the Urban Decay Primer Potion.
Taking the Modern Rennassaince palette I started with ‘Warm Taupe’ as my transition shade, lightly blending this all over the lid and out into the crease.
Next, I took ‘Cyprus Umber’ and applied this to the outer corners to add some definition.
I then used my favourite shade, ‘Primavera’ and applied this all over the lid.
For my inner corner highlight, I used ‘Vermeer’ for a blinding glow.
I attempted a wing with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, my hands are never steady enough for this!
To finish off the eye makeup I applied the Benefit BADgal BANG Mascara.
Countour, Blush, Highlight:
As always for my contour, I used the Kat Von D Shade and Light palette. I started with the middle shade to carve out my cheekbones and add a bit of colour to my face. I then went in with the darkest shade to really define my cheekbones.
For blush, I used Urban Decay’s Afterglow blusher in ‘Crush’, which is a really intense pink shade in the pan but looks lovely when applied lightly to the skin.
For my highlight, I used the beautiful champagne gold from the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette and applied this on the top of my cheeks, nose and cupids bow.
Lips:
I first lined my lips with Charlotte Tilbury’s Pink Venus Lipliner.
I then applied Charlotte Tilbury’s Coachella Coral, one of my favourite summer lipsticks, straight from the bullet.
To finish off I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Portobello Girl lipgloss.
The Finished Look:
I hope you all enjoyed this post, let me know what you think of my golden pink summer makeup in the comments!
