Hey Everyone! I’ve been seeing a lot of these wishlists around and have been dying to make one of my own because there are sooooo many high end products I would love to own that are just either way out of my budget, or too difficult to get a hold of.
One day I do hope to own at least some of these, but until then they will have to stay on my ever-growing list.
L’or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold Primer – £47
From the Website: Guerlain l’Or is an embellishing make-up base sprinkled with pure 24-carat gold flakes. Like the most luxurious jewellery pieces, the precious flakes were crafted into ultra-sparkling and ultra-reflective particles, then dispersed in a hydrating smoothing gel. The complexion is beautified. It glows with divine and unfailing radiance. Skin is smooth, supple and satiny, ready for perfect, enhanced and long-lasting make-up.
I first saw this primer in Harrods last November and have wanted it ever since. I just can’t justify spending that much money on a primer when the one I currently own works really well and is only £9. This primer is so luxurious though, the packaging is beautiful and who doesn’t want to put gold on their face in the morning?! I did manage to test this out on the back of my hand while in Harrods, it was a clear liquid that soaked into my skin and left it feeling so soft. If I do have the spare cash at some point this will definitely be the first thing I’ll buy.
Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick – £42
From the Website: A revolutionary foundation stick with the coverage of a concealer, the fluidity of a liquid, and the weightlessness of a powder in a longwearing waterproof formula for undetectable full coverage. The unprecedented concentration of pigment in this foundation provides maximum coverage with minimum product, concealing all discoloration and imperfections for flawless skin with a seamless finish.
This foundation looks AMAZING! Super full coverage, a flawless finish, easy to apply and sleek and sophisticated packaging. I want nothing more than to get my hands on this product and paste it all over my Instagram (and test it out too obviously). I’ve heard nothing but good things about this foundation and all of the Hourglass makeup just looks stunning.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – £19
From the Website: A best-selling, full-coverage, vegan, blendable concealer that instantly brightens, smooths & shapes skin.
I’m pretty sure everyone has heard of this concealer, it’s all over Youtube and Instagram, every makeup artist is using it and I desperately want to try it. From what I’ve seen the results looks fantastic, especially under the eyes, and it seems to be the most full coverage concealer. Unfortunately though you can only buy it in America, unless you want to fork out for the shipping costs which then takes the price up to £32.94, not including the possible customs charge. For me that’s just not worth it and I can’t swatch the shades to see which colour would match me best. If Tarte ever gets stocked on Beauty Bay or comes to the UK, then I will definitely be making this purchase, but for now I’ll have to live without it.
Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Highlighter – £32
From the Website: My cult classic Bar of Gold features light-reflecting ingredients to lift dull skin and sculpt your cheekbones to perfection. You can get show-stopping glamour in an instant, but you’ll have to be quick… My Bar of Gold is gold dust by nature as well as by name, so get it before it’s gone!
It’s no secret to anyone who knows me that Charlotte Tilbury is my favourite makeup brand. I already own the Filmstar Bronze and Glow palette and am obsessed with that highlighter. The quality of her products are so high that I know I won’t be disappointed with this product. The packaging is in her classic rose gold colour and looks fun, although some reviews have said that the cardboard lid doesn’t last long, and the actual ‘Bar of Gold’ is just so pretty. So when I either run out of the bronze and glow or have a bit more spare money to play with I’ll be buying this along with everything else on her website (I really could spend an absolute fortune on Charlotte Tilbury makeup).
Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit – £39
From the Website: Magically-Metallic highlighters that offer a celestial skin finish. Layer shades of Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit, together or sweep them separately on face, eyes and body for a kaleidoscopic, shimmering effect. Ideal for use with Brush #23. For a brightly amplified glow, apply with a damp makeup brush or sponge.
Do I really need to explain why I want this? Another cult classic that everyone knows about, or owns at this point, that is crazy beautiful. It’s a fairly old palette now, Aurora being the newest one, but I still haven’t got my hands on it. It’s just one of those things that I want but can’t justify… do I need purple, blue and pink highlighters? No, not until I look at swatches and feel a very powerful longing to add this to my collection.
Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic Eyeshadow Palette – £45
From the Official Instagram: Never Before Seen. All-New Formula, All-New Shades, Four New Fashion Finishes. Plush Performance. Dress Your Eyes with the NEW Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palettes.
Oh Marc Jacobs why do you do this to me?! For Christmas I received £100 in John Lewis gift vouchers so I splashed out and got one of these palettes and I adore it! The sleek and simple packaging, the pigmentation and quality of these eyeshadows are just everything and now 6 new ones are being released today! I want at least 3 of these palettes and don’t know how I’m going to resist temptation.
Juvia’s Place Masquerade Palette – $35/£28
From the Website: This product was inspired by African Festivities filled with enormous joy and spiritual activities. The Bold Colors represent costumes used in festivals. The nude and browns represent the African soil and environments. The perfect balance of bolds and neutrals.
I’ve wanted one of these palettes ever since I saw NikkieTutorials use one. I have never seen swatches so pigmented and colourful as these and the colours are absolutely gorgeous. While this palette isn’t that expensive it is another one that you can only get in America, so the shipping costs just make it unaffordable. Again I hope Beauty Bay will one day stock these palettes but until then I’ll just be scrolling through their Instagram and crying at their beauty.
So there you go, that is everything on my high end makeup wishlist. I thought it was going to be a fun post to write but all it’s done is make me want to take out my credit card and worry about the bill later haha.
If you have tried any of these products then please leave a comment below, I would love to know your thoughts on them 🙂
