How Much is my Face Worth?

July 10, 2019
Blog post

The other morning, as I was piling products onto my face, I wondered how much my regular makeup routine was actually worth. I wrote a post a long time ago about how much my entire makeup collection was worth, but have never calculated what my everyday face is. I thought it’d be fun and possibly eye-opening to see how much money I’m putting on my face every day. Hopefully, it’s not as bad as I think!

How much is my everyday face worth?

Moisturiser – Pixi Phenomonal Gel £24

Primer – Guerlain L’Or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold £45.90

Concealer – Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19

Foundation – Kat Von D Lock It Foundation £28

Powder – RCMA No Colour Powder £11.95

Eyebrows – ABH Dipbrow Pomade £19

Contour – ABH Powder Contour Kit – £42

Blush – This changes pretty often but the one I use the most is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush £35

Highlight – This changes pretty often but the palette I use the most is the ABH Dream Glow Kit £46

Mascara – Benefit BADgal Bang £22

Lipstick – This changes daily but most of the time for my everyday look I use the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lolita- £17

Total: £295.04

How much is my face worth?

I am a little speechless, to be honest. I had a feeling it would be in triple digits, but I didn’t imagine it to be almost £300! Every single day I am spending around 30 minutes putting £295.04 worth of products on my face without even thinking about its value. Plus that figure doesn’t actually include any eyeshadow as I don’t tend to wear that every day. I’m just thankful I don’t run out of these products at the exact same time!

How much do you think your everyday face is worth? Also, if anyone knows of any good dupes for the products above please let me know in the comments so I can try and get that number down haha.

I hope you all enjoyed finding out how much my face is worth. While you’re here don’t forget to subscribe to my blog. You can also follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest too. Thanks for reading!

This sounds like a fun idea for a post! It may seem like a lot but think of all the uses you get from a product and divide that into the price and it’s much easier to comprehend 🙂 Your makeup looks lovely in these pictures btw xx

I was literally just thinking about this the other day as I’m off on holiday soon and it seems all my makeup products need topping up at the same time 😅😅 great post idea 💛

Noooo!! Haha that’s so annoying. It’s always foundation, primer and mascara for me that tends to run out around the same time. Hope you have a great holiday though! 😊

What a great post idea! But WOW, I never would have expected it to be that high. Not because the products aren’t worth it, obviously, but because it just doesn’t seem like that much at once we when do our makeup. It would be awful if they all ran out at once, lol!!
