Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette Review and Swatches

With the shops now open (yay!) I’ve been having a lot of fun browsing and impulsively buying new things (yay?). From gym clothes and trainers to dining room tables and, of course, makeup. It’s been an expensive month haha. One thing I treated myself to that I was very excited to try out was the Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette. I’ve never tried anything from Natasha Denona before, although I’ve very much wanted to. And when I saw this palette in the flesh at Harrods Beauty in Lakeside shopping centre, I couldn’t resist it!

Small, compact and bright, the Love Glow Cheek Palette packaging is very pretty and does a great job of standing out. The palette has a magnetic closure, making it easy to travel with, and also a large mirror inside. One thing that I particularly liked about the packaging was that inside it has another plastic protector over the two top shades, which makes the whole thing feel a lot safer to throw in your bag and go.

First Impressions

Obviously, the shades inside are absolutely beautiful. There wasn’t one that stood out to me the most, they all drew me in and I knew there wouldn’t be one that would go untouched. While I don’t usually use cream products, I have been using the first Glow Cream Base shade underneath my makeup for a ‘lit-from-within’ glow. I did definitely think some of the shades were a bit intense as blusher shades. But, they’d work really well as an eyeshadow or for a pop of shimmer in the inner corners. However, when I swatched them, I realised they weren’t as intense as they were in the pan. If you’re going in with a light touch they actually look very natural.

This palette is extremely glowy, the most glowy palette I think I have in my collection even. As someone with combination/oily skin, it’s something that you’d think I’d stay far away from. But, you know what, it actually works so well. The shades all blend together beautifully and they really melt into the skin for a flushed, luminous effect.

Final Thoughts on the Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette

I’d read a review previously saying that this palette would emphasise textured skin as there is a lot of glitter and shimmer in the shades. I didn’t find that to be the case at all! I loved how it looked on my skin. It gave me such a healthy-looking glow and the colours worked so well for my skin tone.

The shades are all meant to be used together for the best, glowing effect. But I find sometimes this can be a bit much so I’ll just one or two of them together. I also found the product lasted a long time on too, I could easily wear it for 8 hours before I’d noticed any kind of fading.

I wouldn’t say this was a palette for everyday use, more for special occasions or when you want a bit of extra glow. It’s definitely one that I would take on holiday with me though to wear on a sandy beach somewhere. It just gives me those ultra-summer vibes.

In the look below I’m wearing all 4 shades and as you can see it gives my complexion a fresh, luminous appearance without sinking into my pores or over-emphasising any texture.

Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette

Overall, I love this palette and think it was definitely worth the investment. For my first Natasha Denona product, it was a huge hit and now I definitely want to try out her other cheek products. If you’re thinking about getting it I would recommend it. While it looks a little intimidating, all the shades (except the Glow Impact Powder) can be built up for a more subtle radiance.

I hope you all enjoyed this review! Let me know in the comments if you have the Natasha Denona Love Glow Cheek Palette or any other products you love from this brand.
