Yesterday I posted what I got my boyfriend for Christmas and now it’s my turn! If you’re wondering why we’ve given each other our presents early then check out yesterday’s post where I explain it all. I love shopping and giving gifts as equally as I love receiving them. It’s fun and exciting and I love trying to guess what people have got me. I had no idea what he got me, there were no hints or out-of-the-blue questions, I was completely clueless!
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post we both had a budget of £150 but ended up going over that. We’re terrible when it comes to a gift budget, both of us want to spoil and always think what we’ve bought isn’t enough, so we keep spending until our poor bank accounts moan!
This was actually from his mum which I was so grateful for! The Mon Paris perfume is my favourite and I was so sad when I had run out. I’m really excited to start using it again. Apparently his mum liked the scent so much she also bought one for herself haha.
Last year Jaz got me two of these little glass decorations, a reindeer and Santa Clause, now he’s included this adorable penguin to the collection! I have a feeling this will become a tradition every year and I’ll eventually have a cabinet full of Swarovski ornaments. I really love the penguin with it’s bow tie and Christmas hat! It looks great next to the others.
I finally own something from Hourglass! I’ve wanted to try this foundation for such a long time but could never justify spending £42 on a foundation. I really can’t wait to test it, there will be a review going up in January so stay tuned for that! I hope it lives up to it’s expectations.
If you read my ‘what I got for my birthday’ post you may remember Jaz got me a giant jar of Nutella then too. I am addicted to the stuff! Despite the fact I haven’t actually finished the first jar he thought I needed another haha.
My main gift from him was this beautiful Swarovski bracelet. I was really surprised when I opened this as I didn’t think he would’ve got me jewellery. I’m not someone who usually wears jewellery, just because I forget to put it on each morning, but I’ve been wearing this bracelet everyday and still can’t get over how pretty it is. In certain lights the sparkle is completely mesmerising. It’s classic and timeless and exactly the kind of jewellery I would wear, I’m not a fan of the big statement pieces you see so often now, so he did very well in choosing this.
That’s everything I got from my boyfriend for Christmas this year! I love everything he got and feel very lucky. The bracelet is absolutely stunning, the penguin is so cute and I really can’t wait to try out the foundation, I hope it’s as full coverage as it claims! I hope you enjoyed this post!
