IT’S CHRISTMASSSSSSSS!!! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, full of food and festive fun and a happy New Year!
Tonight I’ll be attending Midnight Mass, something we haven’t done in years, and I’m really excited about it. It should be fun and get everyone in the Christmas spirit. Then of course when I go home I’ll be leaving a mince pie and sherry out for Father Christmas and going to bed unusually early. I’ll no doubt be waking everyone up at 5am tomorrow morning! We’ll all open our stockings and then head downstairs for breaking which will consist of croissants, crumpets, muffins and pancakes. My gran will be coming to our house for 10am and we’ll all help in cooking Christmas lunch. After lunch we’ll open the presents under the tree and then relax for the rest of the evening. Boxing day will be pretty relaxing too, depending on the weather we’ll be going for a country walk and then heading back to my gran’s house to play some games. So all in all it should be a good Christmas.
I want to thank everyone for supporting me during Blogmas, for all the likes, comments and new followers I’ve received, it means so much and I can’t wait to see where this blog goes in 2018! 2017 wasn’t really a very good year for me. I’ve been pretty miserable throughout most of it to be honest, mainly due to work, so I’m hoping 2018 will be a much better and happier year. Starting this blog was definitely the biggest highlight of the year, I’ve met so many lovely people and it’s been really fun watching my blog grow.
I have a few plans for my blog next year, I want to completely re-design it, post more regularly and work on improving my photos. I’m also considering starting a vlogging YouTube channel but am still undecided on that one. Either way some exciting things should be happening in 2018 and I can’t wait for the New Year to start!
This will be my last post of the year as, quite frankly, I need the break. Working two jobs while blogging everyday and getting ready for Christmas has completely exhausted me. I need to take a bit of time out for myself to catch up on sleep, be with my family and enjoy the rest of Christmas period, I hope you can all understand that. I will resume posting in the first week of January. I’m really glad I managed to complete Blogmas, it was definitely a lot of fun and I loved reading everyone’s Christmassy posts!
I thought to end this post I’d list my favourite bloggers I’ve come across this year. These bloggers are all incredibly lovely people that have great content and deserve to be recognised!
Jade’s blog has been a huge inspiration to me right from when I first started and I’m obsessed! Everything is always so perfectly written, her photos are amazing and I always look forward to reading her posts. She is a gorgeous human being with a great passion and talent for blogging and I’m sure 2018 will bring her loads of success.
Emily is one of the nicest people I’ve met so far and it’s so great to see her blog continuously grow! Her posts are always interesting and I love her makeup looks. Emily has also taken part in Blogmas, posting makeup tutorials, gifts guides, advent calendar reviews and more! You should all definitely check out her blog and give her a well deserved follow.
I have been loving Katy’s Blogmas posts! They’ve all been so festive and fun to read, some of my favourites are the Mulled Wine Recipe, Things I love About Christmas and Favourite Christmas Candles. Katy is posting everyday until the 31st of December so make sure you go over to her blog and give her your support!
Jess has some really great tips and reviews on her blog that I really enjoy reading. She is currently participating in Blogmas, posting for 25 days in row, and has incredibly festive content! Her Christmas makeup looks were so fun and original and you should definitely all go over and subscribe, you will not be disappointed!
Sarah has a wonderful blog! Her posts are so relaxing to read and I’ve been really enjoying her Blogmas. She takes amazing photos which I am completely jealous of haha. You can tell that she puts so much effort into every post and this Christmas Chocolate Cake Recipe look AMAZING!
Jade has been doing Blogmas and her posts are bound to get anyone in the Christmas Spirit. Her photos are the most festive ones I’ve seen and I’ve been really loving everything she’s posted so far. Jade has gift guides for absolutely everyone, including last minute shoppers, grandparents and pets!
I hope you enjoyed this post! What are your plans for Christmas and New Years? Again thank you so much for all of the support and motivation, I really appreciate every single one of you! Have a very merry Christmas and I will be back in the New Year!
