For some reason unbeknownst to me, I don’t take many summer holidays. The majority of my travels have all been during winter. Sweeden, Vienna, Paris, Copenhagen, Belgium and Amsterdam are all places I’ve travelled to in the winter months and there are still so many countries on my winter travel bucket list!
Lapland
Lapland is the perfect place to visit during the winter months! I’d love to experience being here in December, it must feel so magical and Christmassy.

Germany
There’s nothing quite like a European Christmas market and Germany is the place where it all began so I’d love to experience a real, authentic german market! I can’t decide exactly where I’d want to go, either Munich, Berlin or Frankfurt, but I’m sure all of them will be incredible!

Belgium
I’ve already been to Belgium during winter and was lucky enough to visit their Christmas markets but it’s been a few years now so I’d love to go back! I had the best hot chocolate of my life while I was there, literally nowhere else has ever compared, and every corner was just so festive and lovely!
New York
It’s been a dream of mine to visit New York, especially around Christmas and wintertime, since I was little. I’d love to see all the street decorations and of course the Rockefeller Centre. I’d also really like to spend New Year’s Eve in New York, it must be amazing!

Iceland
Imagine cosying up with a hot chocolate in front of a fireplace after spending an evening watching the northern lights, can life actually be any better than that?! It seems like such an ideal place to visit during winter, I can only imagine how beautiful it would be.

North Pole, Alaska
Did you know that there is an entire town dedicated to Christmas all year round?! With street names such as Kris Kringle Drive and Mistletoe Lane not only is this a place I need to visit during winter but this clearly a place I need to relocate to!
