Would You Rather: Christmas Edition

I came across this fun would you rather Christmas game on Laureny Loves blog and since the post I had originally planned to write on this day didn’t quite work out (a baking disaster), I thought this would be perfect!

Would you rather…?

Have to sing Jingle Bells loudly every time you walk into a room or wear a Santa suit to work every day for a week?

Definitely wear a Santa suit to work every day! I’m not a great singer and I’m pretty awkward so entering a room while singing jingle bells every time will make me die inside a little every time. But, wearing a big, festive red suit to work every day for a week I think would actually be a lot of fun.

Not celebrate Christmas this year or not celebrate your birthday this year?

I’d much rather not celebrate my birthday than Christmas, but since we’re now in Tier 4 Christmas has essentially been cancelled anyway. So I didn’t really get to celebrate either occasion this year.

Have Frosty the Snowman as a friend or Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer?

100% Rudolph! It’d be so cute having a little reindeer as a friend and I’d always play all the reindeer games with him!

Have mistletoe hanging in your bedroom doorway or have a large decorated Christmas tree in your bedroom doorway?

You know what? I think I’m going to go with having a Christmas tree in my bedroom doorway. Yes, it’d be a struggle, but waking up to the smell of Christmas tree and all the decorations will just make me so happy each morning.

Write a five-paragraph essay about the meaning of Christmas or solve a page of Christmas themed maths problems?

A 5 paragraph essay…is that it?! Id definitely much rather that than a math problem. Not only do I write Christmas-related posts every day in December, but I’m also a copywriter. So a 5-paragraph essay will take me a maximum of an hour to write. A page of Christmas themed maths problems, on the other hand, will take me at least the entire month if not longer to solve. Maths was never a strength of mine.

Have a job wrapping presents at the mall or have a job taking photographs of children sitting on Santa’s lap at the mall?

Oooohh that’s a tough one as I’d love to be involved in spreading some Christmas cheer to all the kids and capture their faces light up around Santa. But, I think wrapping presents will be much more useful and I could learn some really great wrapping techniques too!

See the Nut Cracker or dance in the Nut Cracker?

Um, can I choose both?! I’d love to see it and be in it. While I’m not a ballerina, I did take lessons for about a month as a child if that counts haha.

Be given £100 for Christmas to spend on yourself or be given £1000 before Christmas to buy presents for other people?

I’d spend it on other people. I absolutely love Christmas shopping and buying presents for other people and £1000 just to blow on spoiling people would be so much fun!

Have a nose the glows like Rudolph’s or have pointy ears like an elf?

Pointy elf ears! I think they’d be so cute but if one day I’m feeling a little self-conscious about my pointy elf ears, I can just hide them underneath my hair. There’s no hiding a bright red, glowing nose. Sorry Rudolph.

Be one of Santa’s elves or one of Santa’s reindeer?

I’ve always wanted to be one of Santa’s elves. I feel like I was one in a previous life haha. To spend every day of the year getting ready for Christmas, making toys, wrapping presents, baking and feeling that festive cheer all the time…what could be better?!

I hope you all enjoyed this Christmas edition of the would you rather game! Do you agree with my answers or not? Let me know in the comments!
