Autumn Homeware Haul | 2018
Over the last few weeks, I have been buying lots of autumn homeware pieces to make my room, and other parts of the house, a little more cosy and festive. Pretty much everything I got made me squeal with excitment and it was difficult to not go overboard and blow my entire paycheck!
As you are all aware I love this time of year, anything autumnal or pumpkin related makes me extremely happy. If there was a place where it was autumn all year round I’d be packing my bags right now! I had a lot of fun shopping around for these autumn homeware pieces and I really hope you all enjoy this haul.
Llama Print Duvet Set – Asda
If you remember my autumn homeware wishlist this was not the duvet included. Originally I wanted the wizard bear duvet set but unfortunately, on payday, they had all sold out! I searched everywhere else for another Halloween themed duvet set but couldn’t find one I liked. Then I spotted this adorable little llama set and snapped it up immediately! I think it still works for autumn as the colours fit with the season and the llamas are wearing adorable fluffy earmuffs, hats and gloves. This duvet set just makes me happy whenever I go into my room haha.
Mustard Velour Cushions – Tesco
I grabbed two of these velour mustard cushions while in Tesco as they were only 2 for £10 and perfectly matched the mustard colours in the duvet. They’re incredibly soft and cosy and add a nice autumnal feel to my room.
Trick or Treat Cushion – TK Maxx
As you would’ve seen in the last picture I got this amazing Halloween cushion from TK Maxx which Gaston also really likes haha. This was in my autumn homeware wishlist, as soon as I wrote that I bought it, I couldn’t wait any longer! I think it goes well with the two mustard cushions and I know I’ll love getting it out every Halloween!
Pumpkin Tea Towels – TK Maxx
Yes, I also got the pumpkin tea towels that were featured in my wishlist, just look at them! I haven’t actually used them yet, they are more for decorative purposes, but I love that even my kitchen can have a little spookiness.
Halloween Ghost Decoration – Tesco
Tesco have some really great Halloween decorations at the moment, including this fun little ghost! If you saw my Instagram story you’ll know that it’s not just something to hang on the wall…it also sings and shakes haha. There’s a button underneath the fabric and when you press it music starts to play, the ghost will shake and start shouting ‘boo’ and making other ghostly noises. It’s so much fun! I’ve put this in my hallway for the trick or treaters to see when they come round.
Pumpkin Garland – Laura Ashley
Laura Ashley isn’t usually a place you’d associate fun decorations with but they have some really cute autumnal items! I picked up this pumpkin garland with the idea to hang it in my living room above the TV to make the room feel even cosier when it’s a movie day. I’m so happy with these and know they’ll last for years.
Pumpkin Tea Lights – Laura Ashley
While in Laura Ashely I also picked up these little pumpkin tea lights! Currently, I have them in a line in front of the TV, just under the garland. I almost don’t want to light them because they’re too pretty.
Black Ghost Snow Globe – TK Maxx
Another item I immediately bought after writing my wishlist haha. As I said in that post I had been looking for a cute, Halloween themed snowglobe that wasn’t all skulls or overly gothic and this was perfect! It’s a great addition to my Halloween decorations and is currently sat on a side table in my living room.
Trick or Treat Candle – TK Maxx
What kind of homeware haul would it be without a candle?! I saw this in TK Maxx for only £2.99 and had to have it! The spooky packaging really drew me in as it fits in so well with everything else I had purchased. This candle has a very sweet scent that fills the room and looks great on the table with the snowglobe.
I’m so pleased with everything I bought and feel like I achieved my goal of making the house feel a little more autmnal. Soon the all the Halloween decorations I’ve bought in previous years will be coming down from the attic which I am so excited for! The house will really feel spooky then, look out for that post soon.
I hope you enjoyed this haul, which item was your favourite? Have you bought any autumn/Halloween decorations this year?
