Autumn Travel Bucket List

With the leaves changing colours, the cold bite in the air, the stunning scenery and the general cosiness autumn truly is the most beautiful season and there are some places that I long to travel to and see this time of year.
Yosemite National Park, California
Yosemite has been on the top of my autumn bucket list for years! With its giant sequoia trees, incredible waterfalls and beautiful views it looks like a stunning place anyway, but in autumn time it just seems unreal.

New York
I mean honestly, I’d love to visit New York any time of year, but after watching Gossip Girl for years I thought it always looked extra grand and magical in autumn, especially Central Park.

Transylvania
How amazing would it be to go to Transylvania, Dracula’s home, in Autumn?! I’d love to visit Bran Castle, which apparently holds a Halloween party every year, go on a Dracula tour and see all the amazing architecture!

Montreal, Canada
Montreal looks so picturesque in autumn! I’d love to visit Mount Royal Park and take a million pictures for Instagram haha. The Fright Fest in La Ronde sounds incredible too, with zombies and ghouls, haunted houses and scare zones such as a vampire’s lair!

Berlin
Berlin is somewhere I’ve wanted to visit for a long time now. I’d love to go for a walk through the parks, visit the Harry Potter Exhibition and go there just at the time where the Christmas Markets start appearing. I’ve been to some European Christmas markets before and they’re so beautiful and festive, Berlin is meant to be the best of the best so I’d love to go one day!

Paris
I’ve been to Paris quite a few times now but never in Autumn. The city just looks more magical, romantic and beautiful in the autumn. The first place I’d have to go to is the Eiffel Tower, grab a Nutella Crepe and wander around the park seeing all the stunning scenery. Of course, I’d have to visit Disneyland too and see the park all decorated for Halloween!

Siberia
Since I was a teenager I’ve had a bit of an obsession with Russia, with the culture, the history and the architecture. Siberia is near the very top of my travel bucket list, experiencing the Trans Siberian Railway would be incredible and it all looks so pretty in autumn!

Lapland
The last place on my autumn travel bucket list is Lapland. Again this is somewhere I’d like to visit toward the end of autumn and the start of winter to experience all the festiveness, see the northern lights and of course Santa! It’s a real winter wonderland and looks so beautiful.

Have you been to any of these places, either during autumn or any other season? What’s on your autumn travel bucket list?
