Dear Santa: My Christmas Wishlist 2020
Dear Santa: My Christmas Wishlist 2020
Dear Santa…this year has been rough and I think every single one of us deserves some treats this Christmas. We’ve all struggled through a difficult time and have finally made it to the end of the year. Presents shall be our reward haha. I’ve actually found it difficult giving people ideas for presents for me this year. Most likely because I haven’t been able to go out at all. Plus, things like theatre tickets or experience days are kind of out this year. But, after scouring the internet and social media I’ve put together a Christmas wishlist of things I’d be more than happy to receive! It mainly consists of eyeshadow palettes but that really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone haha.
Urban Decay Stoned Palette
First up, the Urban Decay Stoned Palette, I’ve had my eye on this since it was first released. I think it looks beautiful and those glitters just do something to my brain and make me feel so happy when I look at them! You could create a lot of fun, festive looks with this palette and I feel like it would be a go-to palette when I need some extra sparkle.
Outlander Book Series
This year I’ve really got in the Outlander TV series. I’m literally obsessed. It’s very quickly become one of my favourite TV shows. After watching it through for the second time I decided to read the book. I only had the first one, which was borrowed from my mum, so I’d love to own the entire series and relive it all over again in a different, more detailed form!
Ace Beauty Oceanic Palette
I’ve never tried anything from this brand before but their eyeshadow palette always draw me in with how bright and vibrant they are! The Oceanic palette is the one that catches my attention the most. Those blue and green shades are just to die for. It’d be such a great palette for summer.
Fluffy Hot Water Bottle
I love a cosy night in and lately, I’ve really been in the mood to just watch some movie on the sofa while holding a comforting hot water bottle. I had a hot water bottle down on our wedding gift list and since then I haven’t been able to stop thinking about having one! It’d be so good for winter and even better during that certain time of the month.
Natasha Denona Love or Sunrise Palette
Again, Natasha Denona isn’t a brand I’ve tried before, but I’ve been lusting over their palettes. They always look so stunning and I really want to see if they are worth the hype – and the price. The two that I want the most are the Love and Sunrise palette. Both of the shades in these palettes look so pretty and from what I’ve seen online they’re super pigmented and high-quality.
Giant Lindt Santa
Chocolate will always be my weakness and this giant Lindt Santa is something I need in my life haha. I’ve had it once before and it took my literal months to eat. But, I’d love to see it under the tree for me again! It’s absolutely ginormous and I know I’m being very greedy but I’m sure any chocoholic will understand haha.
Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes to Hypnotise Palette
Looking at this palette honestly makes my heart jump! It’s so pretty and one that I know I’ll use every single colour. I own one Charlotte Tilbury palette already and it’s my go-to for every day eye makeup looks. The Bejewelled Eyes to Hypnotise looks very glamourous and the packaging is just insanely beautiful.
I’m always debating on whether to get a beauty subscription box or not. After going back and forth between Glossy Box and Birchbox I think I’ve finally settled on wanting a Glossybox subscription. I put it on my Christmas list for people who were asking as I was struggling with ideas, but if no one gets it I think I’ll finally bite the bullet and sign up for it in January. If anyone has a Glossybox subscription let me know in the comments what you think!
Pat Mcgrath Mothership VIII: Divine Rose II Palette
Okay so next year I need to try some Pat Mcgrath makeup, it’s going to be a resolution of mine haha. I swear my jaw drops whenever I see a palette of hers, they’re just out of this world beautiful! I’ve asked for the Mothership VIII: Divine Rose II palette because I love the shades in it, the packaging is amazing and I’m dying to try that Triochrome shade.
Gifts cards are always a good choice for gifts as it allows me to have a shopping day and buy whatever I want without feeling guilty about spending. Plus it gives me loads of time to find something I really want too. This year, I’ve asked for gift cards from Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty, Lush, Oasis, Hell Bunny, John Lewis, Dunelm, Lakeland and IKEA.
That’s everything on my Christmas wishlist this year! Let me know in the comments if you already have any of these items or whats on the top of your Christmas wishlist.
