Favourite Autumn Candles 2021
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love a scented candle – especially those comforting autumn and Christmas scents. My husband has tried to stop me from buying so many new candles every season but to no avail. Now, he just accepts that there are at least 5 autumn-scented candles in every room. Here are some of my current favourite autumn candles 2021.
1. DW Home Apple Butter Honey
DW Home are one of my favourite brands for candles. They smell so strongly, last a really long time and fill the entire room with cosy autumn scents! The apple butter honey candle is wonderfully sweet and warm with notes of cinnamon, apples and caramel honey and maple syrup – all of the autumnal goodness!
2. Yankee Candle Luscious Pumpkin Trifle
I bought this candle a few years ago and only just really started to use it this year. I can’t believe I’d been missing out on this amazing scent for so long! Smelling of vanilla, cinnamon and pumpkin is a sweet yet spicy candle that leaves a lingering autumn scent for long after it’s been burned.
3. Yankee Candle Cinnamon Stick
The Yankee Candle Cinnamon Stick has been my all-time favourite candle for years. It’s unbeatable and I buy a new one every autumn. With blends of warm cinnamon and cloves, I just can’t get enough of the scent and will always recommend it to anyone who’s looking for autumn in a jar.
4. M&S Pumpkin Spiced Boo Candle
This is the most recent candle I’ve bought and it’s already made such an impressive and lasting impression! It’s a classic pumpkin spice scent that you just can’t go wrong with this time of year. But, what makes it extra special, is the LED light. When the candle is lit, the LED light inside will change colour, illuminating the room and making it feel so cosy.
5. DW Home Maple Hazelnut
Of course, another DW Home candle is featured on this list. You may remember seeing this candle in my autumn and Halloween haul as it’s a new one I just bought this year. I like to keep this candle in the kitchen as it fills the room with rich maple and warm hazelnut scents which is totally mouth-watering.
6. Sand + Paws Simmering Spices
Again, this is another candle I bought this year as I couldn’t resist its delicious, spicy scent! With strong notes of cinnamon, almond, nutmeg and myrrh, it’s the perfect candle to transition us from autumn to winter and even Christmas. It also claims to neutralise pet odours, which is ideal for us since we have so many of them!
Those are all of my current favourite autumn candles 2021 and I already can’t wait to buy more for Christmas! Let me know in the comments what your favourite autumn scent is.
