Halloween Homeware Haul 2021
Autumn and Halloween Homeware Haul 2021
In my opinion, you can never have too many autumn and Halloween decorations. As Cady Heron would say, ‘the limit does not exist’. So, while many people in my life feel as though I probably do have enough by now, deep down, I know they’re wrong. This leads me on to say I’ve bought even more Halloween homeware this year and am very happy with each new piece! All of the new items I got this year have come from TK Maxx and Homesense, my top spots when it comes to Halloween and autumn decorating shopping.
1. Vampire Nutcracker
I love a Christmas nutcracker and we have many of them dotted around our home in December. So, when I saw this adorable vampire nutcracker, complete with a cape and a glass of blood, there’s no way I could resist! He’s currently stood on the edge of my fireplace looking both spooky and fabulous.
2. Mushroom Decorations
When I saw these little mushroom sculptures, I immediately thought of Tim Burton – it was the swirly tops that did it. I thought they would look perfect for the entire autumn season and picked up 2 to go on either side of the fireplace. Can you tell I’m loving finally having a fireplace to decorate?
3. Snake Pumpkin
This gothic black pumpkin with a gold snake wrapped around it was the first Halloween decoration I picked up this year. I saw it Homesense and made a beeline straight for it. It looks very cool and fits in great with our dark living room scheme. To me, it’s also very Slytherin which makes it even more perfect.
4. Spooky Gnome
This gnome is absolutely tiny and fits perfectly on a small shelf we have in the kitchen/dining room! At the time, there were lots of different styles of Halloween gnomes and I really wish I’d picked up a couple more. But, I’m very happy with the one I got and I’m hoping it’ll be small enough that my husband won’t notice and I can leave it out all year haha.
5. Maple Hazelnut Candle
It wouldn’t be an autumn/Halloween homeware haul without some candles! I really tried to limit myself this year as I have so many. But I couldn’t leave this delicious smelling Maple Hazelnut candle behind. It smells absolutely incredible and makes the entire kitchen smell so warm, sweet and cosy.
6. Simmering Spices Candle
I also picked up this simmering spices scented candle which I thought seemed like a good transition from autumn and Halloween to winter and Christmas. Autumn and winter spices are my favourite candle scents and instantly get me in the festive mood.
7. Halloween Town Scene
It was so hard to just choose one Halloween town scene! There were so many in the shop that included haunted houses, graveyards and pumpkin patches. In the end, I went for the spooky town which actually very much reminded me of Halloweentown from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This scene also lights up and makes a lot of thunderstorm noises too.
8. Screaming Ghost Sculpture
This cute screaming ghost decoration was the most recent Halloween item I picked up and it looks so good in our dining room window. I usually work in this spot too so it’s like I have a cute, spooky work buddy keeping me company during the week haha.
9. Halloween Doormat
Since moving into our house I have been obsessed with doormats. I couldn’t even tell you why. At this point, I genuinely don’t know how many we have. But, we definitely have one for every season now after I got this Halloween one. Cute and colourful it fits in with the rest of Halloween door decor perfectly.
10. Halloween Snowglobe
Lastly, I picked up this Halloween snowglobe. Can I even actually call it a snowglobe if it doesn’t have fake snow in it? A Batglobe maybe? Anyway, it’s spooky and pretty and even lights up which gives it a nice cosy feel. I love that it’s stacked on some magic books too.
Those are all new Halloween homeware pieces I picked up this year! Let me know in the comments if you’ve done any autumn or Halloween homeware shopping and what your favourite item in this haul was.
