Halloween Nail Ideas
Every year, one thing I always look forward to is getting my nails done for Halloween. I can spend hours scrolling through Pinterest picking the perfect spooky design. Whether it’s ghosts, pumpkins or inspired by my favourite Halloween movies, I have so much fun choosing. And, I’m impressed by what my nail artists can do every single time. So, for today’s post, I thought I’d give you some Halloween nail ideas by going through some of my favourite designs over the years!
Beetlejuice Inspired Nails
This year, I decided to go for some Beetlejuice inspired nails. As it’s one of my favourite movies, and I seem to be extra obsessed with it this year, I thought it was time to honour it! I love this design with the mix of black and white strips with purple and green glitter and a cobweb just to make it extra spooky. My nail artist also had the idea of adding a green slime design to the thumbs to make every nail different and to tie it off all together nicely.
Ghost Glitter Nails
You just can’t beat ghosts when it comes to Halloween nails. Of course, I had to add an element of glitter to them too. They were the perfect combination of spooky and cute! I love their little spooked faces and thought some of them just looked so funny. I was also a big fan of the added ‘boo’ on the accent finger. This set of nails were actually what I had on my wedding day, which I thought was a fun and unique way of giving a nod to Halloween.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Inspired Nails
Another set of movie-inspired nails, these nails were inspired by the pumpkin king himself, Mr Jack Skellington. I would very happily have these nails again one year. I loved the glitter, the skeleton face and the swirl which represented the iconic spiral hill. Spooky yet subtle they’d probably also work well for Christmas nails too if you just add a Santa hat to Jack and maybe choose red glitter instead!
Cat in a Pumpkin
Cats and pumpkins – does it get any better than that?! I was so impressed with these and thought my nail artist at the time was absolutely incredible for being able to hand paint the cat coming out of a pumpkin. They’re definitely a classic Halloween nail design with the black and orange stripes
