Happy Halloween!

October 31, 2017

Happy Halloween everyone! I can’t believe I actually managed to complete Blogtober. When I set out to do this challenge I was positive I was going to fail, blogging everyday is hard! If it wasn’t for all the support I received there’s no way I would’ve been able to complete it. It was definitely a lot of fun and I really enjoyed doing it, although there was a time during the middle of the month where I thought about giving up. I liked it so much I’m actually thinking about doing Blogmas too! I was completely set against not doing Blogmas but now Blogtober is over I think I’m going to miss it. Leave me a comment down below with your opinions on whether I should do Blogmas or not!

During this month I received  a few award nominations from:

Tabitha Dudley

Emily Burns

Head in the Clouds

Mademoiselle O’ Lantern

Beauty Banter

Thank you so much for nominating me and I’m really sorry I couldn’t do the tags. I usually do and I really wanted to I just didn’t get the time, as I’m sure you can imagine this was a crazy month. I really appreciated the nominations though, you have no idea what it means to me that you thought of my little blog when choosing your nominees. Thank you again!

Also thank you to absolutely everyone who supported me throughout this challenge. Everyone who read, liked, commented, subscribed, left me messages and followed me on Instagram and Twitter, you all motivated me to keep going. It’s true when they say the blogging community is the kindest, most supportive community out there and I’m so glad I get to be a part of it.

I’m a really shy person so I tend to not initiate conversation on social media or comment as much as I should, most people misjudge this as me being rude, when really I just think I’m being annoying and struggle with finding the right thing to say. So thank you to those of you who still continuously support me and my blog, despite the fact that I’m not the chattiest. I may be a quiet member of the blogging world but I’m a member none the less and I love supporting you all and seeing you succeed. I consider all of you to be my friends and I’m really glad I got meet you through this platform.

Highlights of the month:

1.) Reaching 200 Followers

It may not seem like a big number to some but it was huge for me. I’m currently at 213 total followers and considering I started seriously blogging in August I’m very happy with that number. I’m excited for it to continue growing and see were it takes me.

2.) Starting my Christmas Shopping

I’m a pretty organised person and love to start my Christmas shopping early. I’ve already finished shopping for my Nan and Grandad and have got a few bits for other family members and my boyfriend. Christmas shopping is one of my favourite things to do because it’s the only time I can spend lots of money without feeling any guilt, since none of what I’m buying is for me haha.

3.) Discovering Hocus Pocus

I watched Hocus Pocus for the first time this month and finally understood the hype. So many bloggers were obsessing over this movie so I thought it was about time I saw it. It was as amazing as they say and I’ll be watching it again today!

4.) Longleat

I love Longleat. No matter how many times I go it just doesn’t get boring. I went for the autumn festival with my boyfriend and had a great time. We’re going again in December with my family and I couldn’t be more excited!

5.) My Kitten’s Halloween Costumes

This was a highlight simply because he looked so cute! (read the post here)

October was a great month for me and I hope November will be even better with it being my birthday month. Again thank you to everyone who supported and motivated me throughout Blogtober. Please help me decided in the comments below on whether I should participate in Blogmas! I hope you all have a great day filled with lots of sweets, movies, costumes and other festiveness. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
