Chunky jumpers, ankle boots, coats, layers…I LOVE autumn fashion! I always struggle to find clothes I feel comfortable in during summer, but every autumn my wardrobe is packed with new jumpers. I’ve been building up my autumn wardrobe for the past month or so now and thought I’d share with you all what I got!
I mentioned this in my autumn fashion wishlist and bought it pretty much right after I wrote it! Giraffes are one of my favourite animals, I always cry whenever I see them in the zoo because they just make me so happy! This shirt is super adorable and really comfy to wear. It’s very soft and quite a thin material so I would definitely need a light jacket or cardigan to wear when it starts getting colder. Sugarhill Boutique do such fun, unique clothing, I would highly recommend you check them out!
This is a really thick, cosy jumper and in a colour I’ve never worn before. It has balloon sleeves which I like a lot as it adds a little something different to it. This jumper is perfect for the lazy autumn days, just lounging around at home or popping out quickly for hot chocolate. It’s a very warm fabric and I’ve worn it quite a lot already!
Again from Oasis and something you may remember seeing on my autumn fashion wishlist is this cosy coatigan. I admit I have several of these long cosy cardigans, all from Oasis from previous years, in different colours. I immediately fell in love with the burnt orange colour and thought it was perfect for autumn, especially for those days that aren’t cold enough for a coat but you need something more than a regular cardigan. It’s an easy item to just quickly throw on over an outfit and I’ve been really loving it.
I really wanted something with this kind of print and I’ve been loving the slightly cropped shirts this year. I absolutely adore the stars and moons and it’s such a comfy shirt, although I would recommend getting the size down as it is pretty big and baggy. It’s a great shirt for autumn and spooky season!
This adorable llama jumper featured in my Summer Clothing Wishlist in June. I mentioned it wasn’t exactly a summer item but I loved it so bought it for autumn instead! It’s very soft and comfy and I just can’t get enough of the little llama’s face. I really like the blue cuffs, it adds a nice little detail. I think this is one of my favourite pieces I bought this year.
This isn’t my usual style of dress but I thought it was cute. I really like the length of the sleeves and the ruching in the front. It’s a pretty flattering fit although I haven’t actually been confident enough to wear it out yet. The design and the colours are very pretty and so autumnal. Paired with black tights, some tan boots and a cardigan or light jacket this would be a really cute outfit.
I’d been looking for a pair of flat boots for autumn as all of mine were heeled and these were perfect! The glitter strip really adds a little special something to them. I love the tan colour, they go with pretty much everything in my wardrobe, and they’re very comfortable. I got them about half a size bigger so I could wear thick, fluffy socks with them in the winter. As they’re leather I’m hoping I’ll be able to get a few years wear out of them. Side note: How adorable is my cat in this picture?!
Honestly, I could buy so much from Oasis! I bought this shirt because I liked the pattern and the frill detail on the sleeves. It’s really very pretty but unfortunately, I have yet to wear because again I feel a little too chunky in it. I’m hoping when I lose a few extra pounds I’ll feel better because I really do love it and I have a lipstick to match the purple flowers perfectly! For the colder days, I’d pair this with a cosy khaki cardigan and my ankle boots which I think would look really cute and autumnal.
I am a very proud Scorpio so I definitely needed this constellation necklace! It’s very dainty and can be fastened on several lengths for a short, choker style or a little longer. I think it’s so pretty and different to have the actual star sign constellation rather than the symbol. Accessorize jewellery is always stunning and I’ve been impressed with every piece I have from there! I’m completely obsessed with this necklace and think it’ll work well with most of my autumn clothes.
This is a very bold, vibrant cardigan and so cosy! It easily makes a plain outfit pop and it will keep you warm on chilly mornings. I really like the pattern, it reminds me of the cardigans my nan used to knit for me and my sister when we were younger. It’s great to just throw on over an outfit for a casual day.
This is an adorable dress that I’ve worn a lot so far! It’s very pretty and will be great with tights and a jacket for autumn, but also just with bare legs for summer. The frill around the waist is super cute and again the fit is very flattering. It’s quite a stretchy material which is always good for me as I don’t have to feel self-conscious or uncomfortable. The colours are stunning and it’s definitely an item I’ll be getting a lot of wear out of.
I did it! I bought the Ted Baker coat and I’m so happy I did! It looks even more gorgeous in real life than it does in the pictures and there’s so much little detail that makes it feel special and luxurious. The buttons all have ‘Ted Baker’ embossed in them, the lining inside is beautiful, the scalloped edges are very feminine and pretty and the fit is perfect.
I can’t believe I actually own a Ted Baker coat, after wanting one for so long! It’s absolutely beautiful and makes me feel very fancy. I’ll be going to London for my birthday in a few weeks and you can bet I’ll be strutting around in this coat like I belong on Made in Chelsea haha. It’s definitely my favourite clothing item I’ve bought this year, I love it so much! Did you guess this was the coat I bought?
So that’s everything I got this year. My wardrobe is so full now I’ve had to hang things on the doors but that’s okay because I love everything! What are your favourite items in this haul? Is there anything here you’d like to buy? Let me know in the comments!
