Lush Halloween Haul 2018
One of my favourite things about this time of year is the Lush Halloween and Christmas ranges and when they finally released the Halloween products I was all over it! I was pretty disappointed they decided to drop the Pumpkin Bath Bomb this year as that was my favourite, but it’s still a great range with a couple of fun new products that I’m really excited to try.
Monsters’ Ball Bath Bomb
You are invited to a specdracula event; get set to put a spell on all things that go bump in the night and boogie on down to your bathroom for a monster mash of uplifting oils.
I was really happy to see this one was back again! It smells incredibly sweet and turns the bath water a gorgeous dark purple colour, plus there’s glitter which is always a good thing in my books.
Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar
If you’re pumped for Halloween, you’re sure to feel jacked up by this sparkly bubble bar. Crumble your pumpkin up under running water to build a mountain of soft bubbles.
A Lush Halloween classic! It has a very citrusy smell and produces lots of orange, shimmery, autumn bubbles. A must-have for Lush newbies.
Lord of Misrule Shower Cream
A feast for the senses! Get down and earthy with this mischievous, herbal blend of patchouli, peppercorn and black pepper with an intriguing vanilla absolute sweetness.
It seems there was some confusion on whether the Lord of Misrule Shower Cream was coming back but thankfully it did! I’ve used the bath bomb for the last couple of years but never picked up the shower cream so I thought I’d try it out this year. It had a very unique scent to it that instantly makes me think of Halloween. I can’t wait to use it!
Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb
Revel in your bath with this mischievous bomb that features a spicy herbal blend of patchouli and black pepper oil. Inspired by the ruler of the pagan Feast of Fools, Lord of Misrule has a deep green exterior that slowly froths away to reveal a rich, wine-coloured centre.
Of course, I had to get this again, another Lush Halloween classic Lord of Misrule is amazing! Again the smell just reminds me of Halloween and while it doesn’t look like much on the outside, once it’s in the bath it fizzes away into greens and pinks and even features popping candy.
Ectoplasm Bath Bomb
For soaks from the other side, launch this slimer into the water and let the gooey jelly ooze across the surface softening your skin as it goes.
This one was new last year I believe and I loved it! I know a lot of people don’t particularly like the jelly bombs but I think they’re a lot of fun. I love the texture, it makes my skin feel so soft after. This is a really pretty bath bomb too and it smells so uplifting.
Bewitched Bubble Bar
After a busy day whizzing around on a broomstick, run a bath, crumble this lucky little cat under the water and ground yourself with spicy olibanum.
Anyone who knows me knows I love cats so of course I had to pick up this bubble bar again. It has a sweet subtle smell and produces dark grey/black bubbles which is perfect for the spooky season!
Ectoplasm Shower Scream
When you’re feeling a bit disembodied and need to return to the land of the living, get in the shower with this luminous shower gel.
This is one of the new products I was most excited for, just look at bright it is! It smells so good and will be perfect for Halloween baths.
Eyeball Bath Bomb
Eye spy with my little eye, a gentle rose and orange soak. Feast your eyes on this floral fizzer filled with ylang ylang and lavender oils and it’s peachy water.
The Eyeball Bath Bomb was the first Lush Halloween product I saw was being released this year and I thought it looked really fun. After doing a little bit more research it looks like it will turn the bath a bright orange, just like the previous Pumpkin Bath Bomb which makes me very happy.
Ghost in the Dark Soap
Beware the things that go bump in the night. If you’re feeling a little spooked, head to the bathroom and soap up with this glowing spectre-cle that will shine in the darkness when you’re scared to look under your bed.
Lastly is my new favourite Lush Halloween product, the Ghost in the Dark Soap. How amazing does it look?! I couldn’t believe it when they said it would actually glow in the dark! I’m obsessed with the uplifting scent too. It looks so cute that I almost don’t want to use it but I’m really excited to walk in a dark bathroom and see this glowing!
That was everything in my Lush Halloween haul. I’m so excited to try all the new products and I also can’t wait for the Christmas release! Have you tried any of these yet? Which is your favourite product? Let me know in the comments. While you’re here why not subscribe to my blog? I’d love to have you here! You can also follow me on Twitter and Instagram.
