This or That Book Tag
This or That Book Tag
While reading through a bunch of blog posts, I came across the ‘this or that book tag’ from And On She Reads and thought it looked like a fun post to do! It’s been a long time since I’ve done a tag post and they’re always fun to read and write in my opinion. Plus, it gives you all a chance to get to know a bit more about me too.
- Answer the questions (and explain your answer if you want to).
- Add one more question of your own at the end for future bloggers.
- Tag as many bloggers as there are questions.
- Credit And On She Reads as the author of the tag.
This or That Book Questions:
1.) Enemies to lovers or friends to lovers?
Always enemies to lovers! I love the extra drama it creates, the shock factor and it’s even better if the enemy is an actual villain with a soft spot for the protagonist too.
2.) Story told from one perspective or from multiple perspectives?
This is a tricky one because I’ve read books before told from multiple perspectives that I just don’t care about. But other books, like the Perfect Chemistry series, for example, does it really well! I think in general, I prefer single perspectives though.
3.) Series or standalone?
Definitely series, I want to be in it for the long run! I want to indulge in an entirely new world with characters to get to know and grow to love. I pretty much only ever read series and always get so excited before starting a new one. Plus, when a new book in a series gets released it’s honestly so exhilarating!
4.) One book at a time or multiple books on the go?
When I was younger, I used to be really good at reading multiple on the go. But now, because I’m pretty much only reading fantasy books at the moment, reading several can get super complicated. I often get confused between the two different worlds. I definitely want to get back into reading multiple books in one go though as it’s great for smashing through my TBR list and Goodreads goal! It also gives me a nice break from a book that may be a bit heavy going at times too.
5.) Fiction or non-fiction?
Has to be fiction for me. I’ve tried reading non-fiction before and can never get through it all as I just get so bored.
6.) Daytime reading or nighttime reading?
I read every single night before bed and always look forward to that time. But I love daytime reading too. There’s just something that feels extra special and relaxing reading a book in the garden on a sunny afternoon with a cocktail in hand too. On the rare occasion I go into the office too, I like to read on the train.
I hope you all enjoyed reading this ‘this or that book tag’! I’m already breaking the rules and not tagging anyone in particular. If you want to do it too then please feel free.
