Clothes Haul + Try On

August 26, 2017

Hey everyone! Once again the clothes shops have called out to me, tempting me to come inside and have a browse, and I have been unable to resist. August is such an awkward month to buy clothes, the shops are starting to get their Autumn/Winter ranges in, yet it’s still hot and sunny outside (sometimes, it is the UK after all). I’m here planning beach trips and potential barbecue’s while buying jumpers and debating if I really need that gorgeous, navy blue, wool blend coat from Monsoon.

So I thought I would share with you all of my recent purchases for this seasonal transition stage we’re currently in.

Oasis – Butterfly Lace Dress  was £52 now £15

This dress is just adorable. It can easily be dressed up for an event or down for a more casual look. I love the lace details and the sleeves are the perfect length for covering the parts of my arms I dislike the most, and the colourful butterfly design just give it that little extra something. It’s comfortable to wear and I always find Oasis dresses to be flattering. This can be worn as a cute summer dress, or with tights, boots and a coat for the upcoming colder days.

Oasis – Glitter Swan Tee £25

Not just your basic grey t-shirt, this one has glittery, pink swans all over it! I completely fell in love with this and bought it the day it came into store. The swans are so cute and anything that’s pink and sparkly will most definitely have my name on it . I wear this with just a pair of blue jeans for a casual look, or with a little matching, pink cardigan and heeled ankle boots for the grey days.

Monsoon – Nadine Overlap Pocket Jean £39

I have never owned a pair of jeans from Monsoon before, but after having these I’m pretty certain that’s where all of my jeans are going to come from now. Since buying this pair I have practically lived in them, they are insanely comfortable! High-waisted and stretchy they hide all the unwanted lumps and give you plenty of room to move around in. They’re very flattering and such good quality that I will definitely be purchasing more and I highly recommend you all try a pair.

Oasis – ZSL Zebra Knit £40

I love this jumper so much! Oasis have collaborated with London Zoo so they have a whole range of animal inspired clothing and I literally want it all. The zebra wraps around so the tail is on your back and the mane has a few sparkly gems in. It’s soft and comfortable and fairly lightweight, which makes it perfect for the weather currently being all over the place.

Oasis – High Back Vest £25

Next I got this cute, basic vest because it’s one of my favourite colours to wear. In the picture I’m wearing it with the Monsoon jeans and a pair of matching flats from Accessorize. I really like this outfit and think it’s great for the transition season and early Autumn.

Monsoon – Annie Print 2 in 1 Jumper £49

I really like the pretty, floral trim on this jumper, it was what drew me toward it. Again it’s lightweight and has three-quarter length sleeves so it’s not too hot when the sun decides to make an appearance. It’s comfortable to wear and very good quality, as you can expect from Monsoon, and I feel like it will become a staple for years to come.

Accessorize – Trapped Flower Long Pendent £8

I bought this necklace to go with the black jumper to give it a little lift. As you can see in the picture above it’s a small, pressed flower, inside a clear case on a long chain, which I think looks so pretty. Accessorize are killing it with their jewellery lately, there is so much in there that I want.

Oasis – Small Rose Lace Dress £55

My boyfriend actually bought me this dress and I love it! The rose pattern is very pretty and, similar to the butterfly dress, I love the little lace sleeves. It’s nice and fitted, cinching in at the waist to help get that hourglass shape and is extremely flattering. I’ve worn this dress on a night out and also more casually with tights, boots and a faux fur coat so it’s very versatile. It’s definitely one of my favourite things in this haul and something that will carry over and become a main piece in my upcoming Autumn wardrobe.

Oasis – ZSL Kissing Giraffe Placement Tee £30

Lastly I bought another item from the London Zoo range, the giraffe t-shirt. Giraffe’s are one of my favourite animals, I recently came in very close contact with them at Marwell Zoo and nearly cried with excitement, so there was no question about me buying this top. The t-shirt is comfortable and fits true to size and the giraffes have little sequins on their necks and bodies to give a little sparkle.

That was all the clothes I got to tide me over until Autumn officially begins on the 22nd of September. I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some help or inspiration for the seasonal transition period. Let me know in the comments what you think, or if you own any of these items too. Also follow me on Instagram and Twitter to keep up to date, I will of course follow everyone back.
