Coat Wishlist

When it comes to buying  a new coat I can be pretty fussy. I see coats as an investment piece, something that should last and that I can wear for years to come. The coats I choose tend to be quite expensive, because I don’t see the point of buying a cheap one that isn’t going to last long. I currently own two coats that I’ve had for a couple years and are still in perfect condition. While I don’t necessarily need a new one right now I can’t help but be drawn to them. There are several out there that I love which I am going to share with you today. Hopefully you can help me make a decision haha.

1.) Monsoon Heather Button Coat -£149

This coat is absolutely gorgeous. Double breasted, navy blue, wool blend with gold crested buttons, it is stunning. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve gone into Monsoon to try it on. I’ve taken several family members and my boyfriend to view the coat. I pick it up and walk around, so tempted to buy it and I don’t think I’ll be able to resist much longer.

2.) Monsoon Henrietta Coat – £159

I love the colour of this coat and the faux fur detailing. Again it’s a wool blend with double breasted buttons and the fur collar is detachable, but without it I find the coat rather plain. It’s very classy, very sophisticated and one that won’t go out of style. It will look so pretty on a frosty, winter morning.

3.) Reiss Orsa Faux Fur Coat – £350

I already own a faux fur coat and I adore it. It’s perfect for when you don’t want a big, formal coat, but rather something to just throw on quickly. I really like the colour of this and think it looks so soft and cosy.

4.) Ted Baker Cashmere-Blend Wrap Front Coat – £329

I would buy all three of these if I could. They are so beautiful and luxurious. If I had to choose one though it would be the bright fuchsia pink because it’ll really stand out and it’s definitely my kind of colour. I have tried this on and it fits perfectly. I also really like the magnetised fastener on the chest, makes it very easy to wrap up warm.

5.) Burberry The Sandringham – Long Heritage Trench Coat – £1,395

I have longed for a classic trench coat from Burberry for years, ever since I saw Audrey Hepburn wear one in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s a coat that will never go out of style and that you can wear for all seasons and occasions. I hope one day I’ll be lucky enough to own a Burberry coat.
