Gym Clothing Wishlist
Since my wedding, I’ve really relaxed when it comes to eating healthily and exercising. After working so hard to get to a point I was happy with, I thought I deserved a break. And with my birthday and Christmas coming up it was amazing to just let go and indulge. But, now it’s time to get back into a routine and feel good about myself again. Although the gyms are currently shut, I’ll still be doing virtual home workouts with my PT to get started and conditioned for when the gyms reopen again. So, I need some new workout clothes. Here’s everything currently on my gym clothing wishlist:
Whenever I’m looking for new gym clothes, Gymshark is always my first stop. I’m a big fan of Gymshark leggings. They’re comfy, easy to move in, squat proof and available in a huge range of bright, fun colours which is always an important factor for me. I love the colour of these particular leggings and can see myself wearing them a lot. They’re also high-waisted which is an absolute must for me.
I love the colour of these leggings and already own the burgundy version of the ombre leggings. Again, they’re super cute, super comfy, high-waisted and with a ribbed waistband. And, from my experience, these leggings are true to size. I’m 5’3, a size 14 and the medium fits me perfectly and allows me to move around easily with no issues of them being see-through.
As it’s winter I’m only really looking at training hoodies rather than t-shirts. Plus, as I’m carrying a little Christmas weight, these hoodies are perfect for my insecure days! I love how bright this hoodie is and, again, from previous experience, they fit really well and are super comfy. They’re also lightweight so I don’t get too hot in them and they have a kangaroo pocket too which is always appreciated.
Victoria Secret isn’t usually a place people look to when it comes to gym clothes, but they actually have some very cute things, and they’re incredibly comfy too! I currently own a pair of pink leggings from them which I wear all the time, even when I’m just lounging around the house. They’re a very flattering fit, are easy to move in and I never have to worry about them being see-through. I love the red shade of these leggings, and as I currently don’t own any red coloured gym wear, this is high on my wishlist.
I’d also really like to get the matching red sports bra too. These bras are extremely comfy, stretchy and keep me feeling very secure when working out. For reference, I am an E cup and can’t do any kind of exercise without wearing a sports bra and this is definitely the best one I’ve ever tried. So, I’d definitely like to pick up more in a bunch of different colours.
Of course, when buying new gym clothes trainers are a must! I can be really fussy when it comes to trainers so it usually takes me weeks or even months before finding something I like and then pressing that ‘buy now’ button. I really like the look of these trainers, they’re simple but with some pretty pink detailing and glitter too! Plus, they look comfy, are made from a breathable fabric and designed for flexibility which is perfect.
I also think these trainers are super cute too. I love the pale pink colour and they look very cushioned and comfortable. They seem great for more high-intensity training and ideal for long walks. I know they’d be perfect for walking around Disneyland in which is something I’ll also always consider when it comes to buying gym trainers haha.
That’s everything on my gym clothing wishlist so far this month! Let me know which items are your favourite in the comments. I hope you all enjoyed this post.
