Summer is officially here which can only mean one thing….NEW WARDROBE! I’ve shopped a lot over the last couple months, spending an absolute fortune all to find cute summer outfits and I’m so happy with everything I’ve bought.
Oasis – Spring Botanical Skater was £46 now £22
First up is this pretty coral, floral dress. There is quite a lot going on here, with the colour, pattern, lace detailing and layered sleeves but I fell in love with it the second I saw it. It’s very comfortable and slimming, the colour is beautiful and matches with the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy lipstick in the shade High Level perfectly! It’s a thin, floaty material, making it very cool to wear throughout summer.
Oasis – Laundered Chintz Tee £32
The colours and pattern of this top are just beautiful, you may notice during this post that I am a floral fan! I love the lace detail on the sleeves and also down the back which you can’t see from the picture above. I would suggest going a size up in this as it is quite tight around the shoulders, normally I’m a size 12 but got this in a 14. Again it’s very comfortable to wear and is something that can be dressed up for a smart causal look.
Oasis – Isabella Rip and Repair Jeans £48
These jeans are very good quality and I love the design of them. They’re skinny and cropped, although at my height of 5’3 they’re just a regular length on me. I really like the zips on the side and thought they’d be great for those spontaneous trips to the beach to just roll up and dip your feet in the ocean.
Oasis – Hummingbird Tie Front Tee was £29 now £22
I love everything about this top, the colour, hummingbird pattern and the tie detail is adorable. It’s very comfortable and easy to wear and would look great with a pair of shorts. I like that it shows a tiny bit of stomach, I’m very self conscious about my weight and size and always try to be brave with my clothes, so showing just that little square of skin is a big deal for me.
Monsoon – Pedra Parrot Cami was £29 now £20.30
First of all sorry for the dirty mirror! haha. I bought this in the last week and haven’t actually had a chance to wear it properly yet, but I love the colour and the parrot design so much! It’s bright and vibrant and will be good for beach days.
Oasis – Isla Lace Shift Dress £46
I get SO many compliments whenever I wear this dress! Oasis bring out these dresses every year in all different colours, I had tried them on before and they’d never worked for me. I’ve lost just over a stone in a year and when I saw this dress again in bright pink I couldn’t resist and was thrilled that this time it looked good! It’s very slimming and a lot brighter in real life than in the picture. It’s great for everyday wear but would also work well for a summer wedding.
Oasis – Floral Print Tee £22
Oasis t-shirts are the softest, comfiest t-shirts I have ever owned and they are so pretty. I love the colours and the floral design. This is great for everyday wear, on lazy days lounging in the garden with a pair of shorts on.
Oasis – Crew Cardi £25
A basic, coral cardigan for those typical British summer days where it’s not as warm as you were hoping for. It’s very soft and goes well with a lot in my summer wardrobe.
Oasis – Royal Worcester Vest £29
In this picture you can see what the Isabella jeans are like on, plus the coral cardi, but the main focus is the beautiful turquoise vest. This vest is in their collaboration with the Museum of Royal Worcester collection which is all so pretty, the colours are absolutely stunning. I love the lace detailing at the bottom and think this is a really cute summer look.
Oasis – Ditsy Tie Front Playsuit £40
I have never owned a playsuit, I always thought I was too short and my hips were too big. On a whim I tried this on because I loved the pattern and the small cut out section at the back, plus it was the hottest day of the year so far and I needed something cool. It has since become my favourite piece this summer. It’s super comfortable to wear and it makes my boobs look big and my waist look small which is all I ever want haha. This will definitely become a summer staple and something I will wear year after year.
Oasis – Mia Multi Strap Heeled Sandal £38
Normally throughout summer I would just wear ballet flats or sandals, this year I wanted something different, I wanted something with a heel. When I saw these I got them right away. The heel wasn’t too big, they go with everything and are surprisingly comfortable to wear. The only issue I’m going to have with these is the ridiculous tan lines I’ll no doubt get haha.
Asos – Flamingo Shoes £25
Lastly I bought these SUPER adorable flamingo shoes. How cute are they?! They’re a metallic silver and the flamingos have little glitter details. I have quite a lot of pink in my wardrobe so they go with a lot and I just loved how different and quirky they were. I’m obsessed with flamingos and fully on board with this trend. I think it’s safe to say these are the cutest pair of shoes I’ve ever owned!
So that’s everything I’ve got, it was a MASSIVE haul! There were so many summery things that I liked this year, and after losing a stone I was definitely feeling more confident in myself 🙂
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post and that it gave you some inspiration for your summer wardrobe!
