My Week in Outfits

April 26, 2019
Blog post

My wardrobe is forever bursting with clothes. In fact, clothes no longer fit inside my actual wardrobe so I have to find any spare surface to hang things up on, including using half of my mum’s wardrobe. It’s a nightmare but will I stop buying clothes? No. I regularly have clear outs and donate items to charity but right now I love everything I own!

Since losing quite a bit of weight I’ve become a bit more confident in what I’m wearing and more of my clothes are starting to fit again. YAY! So I thought I’d show you all my week in outfits. I find these types of posts so interesting and I hope you like it too as I want to try and make this a fairly regular thing.

Monday 8th April

I had Monday and Tuesday off from work to spend some time with the family and catch up with blogging. So my mother, sister and I decided to go to Clarks Village to browse some shops and look for birthday presents for my Nan. I wore some skinny jeans from ASOS which I’ve had for years and are still super comfy. They’ve also kept their shape which I’m happy about. I also wore a giraffe shirt from Sugarhill Boutique which is one of my all-time favourite clothing stores.

Tuesday 9th April

Tuesday was a stay at home/blogging day so there was no point in dressing up. I wore some Puma gym leggings which are super comfy and my Winchester uni leavers hoodie. This is my go-to outfit when I’m not leaving the house but still want to change out of my PJs.

Wednesday 10th April

I was back to work on Wednesday and wore a really cute, spring-like dress, paired with super thick black tights and a khaki cosy cardigan all from Oasis. The majority of my wardrobe is from Oasis as I worked there for about two years. It was a requirement to buy and wear the latest clothes (on a VERY generous staff discount) every couple of weeks. I genuinely love the clothes from Oasis and still buy so much from there, it’s pretty, feminine, colourful and completely my style. Sometimes I really miss working there as the people I worked with were amazing and they were such a relaxed, wonderful company to work for. But then I remember dealing with customers and suddenly I’m really glad I work in an office now haha.

Thursday 11th April

On Thursday the sun was shining and despite being stuck in an office all day I wanted to wear something bright and fun. I wore this pretty floral cami top from Oasis which hasn’t fit me for a while and paired it with my favourite Oasis pink jeans, they’re super stretchy and really makes the outfit pop. I also threw on a lightweight grey cardigan from Oasis as the office is usually pretty cold and I hate my arms so always need something to cover them up. This is my favourite outfit from the week and I felt really good wearing it.

Friday 12th April

Friday wasn’t the greatest day, to be honest. I was at work but I wasn’t feeling very well due to it being that time of the month. Because I was feeling nauseous I skipped both breakfast and lunch so I was starving and to top it off in the afternoon I noticed there was a big hole in my jeans. Thank you enormous thighs. Luckily the hole wasn’t in a very visible place but I’m sad I have to throw these grey ASOS jeans out now. Anyway, I also wore this absolutely adorable Stitch t-shirt I got from Primark last year and a super soft and cosy navy blue cardigan from, you guessed it, Oasis.

Saturday 13th April

I got my hair cut and highlighted on Saturday and I’m so in love with it. This was going to take hours and I hadn’t made any other plans for the day so I wanted to wear something comfy. I wore the blue ASOS jeans again along with a cropped moon and stars top which was also from ASOS.

Sunday 14th April

Sunday I did absolutely nothing haha. I woke up at around 8am and ordered a bunch of products from the Urban Decay Game of Thrones collection which I am very excited to show you and play with! But for the rest of the day, I stayed in lazy, comfy clothes, played sims and watched movies. I wore my Puma leggings again and an oversized Stitch jumper from Primark.
