As hard as it is to believe in the UK, summer is almost here which means it’s time to hit the shops in search of some cute outfits for the warmer days! I’ve been spending the majority of my evenings browsing through websites and have put together a wishlist of my favourite items. I wish I had the budget to get everything on this list but I am currently saving for both a house and a wedding, so spending just over £500 on clothes isn’t really an option for me right now haha. However, I can allow myself one or two things so let me know in the comments what you think I should get.
So this may not be the best item for summer but it has an adorable little llama! How can I resist an adorable little llama?! I love cutesy clothes like this and Sugarhill Boutique is one of my favourite clothes shop as everything is so fun. I really like the blue cuffs on the sleeves too, it just looks like a cosy jumper that’d be perfect for the weekends!
This dress is so bright and vibrant and great for warm summer days! I really like the style of this dress with the buttons down the front and the colour looks amazing. I think this would be a really flattering, comfortable dress to wear to the beach or just a summer day trip out.
If I had the budget I’d buy everything from the Ted Baker website. I adore their clothes and recently bought a jumper from them which I am completely obsessed with. This top is beautiful, feminine and the colour and pattern is stunning! I’m not 100% sure if the high neck would suit me but I’d definitely like to try it.
Tell me this isn’t the cutest t-shirt you’ve ever seen! I love Giraffe’s so much I get a little emotional whenever I see one in real life haha. Again this is from Sugarhill Boutique and I think it’d be a fun t-shirt that I could wear anywhere, I really like the navy blue strips, it looks super comfy and Giraffe peeking out of the pocket is very sweet.
I really like the style of this top from Oasis and have a couple of tops already in the tie-front style. I think they’re really cute for summer and super comfy to wear. The floral pattern and the colour is very pretty and something I can see myself wearing a lot.
These are the shorts from the picture above, I loved the whole outfit so much I thought I’d add the shorts too. I actually don’t own a pair of shorts, I’ve never been confident enough to wear them but I really like these. They’re a bit different to your average denim short, I really like the colour and think this would be a great outfit to wear to the beach or a BBQ.
This dress is without a doubt my favourite item on the list and what I’ve been looking at the longest. Again it’s from Ted Baker and I think it’s absolutely stunning! The colour is so vibrant, I love the scallop style and the lace embroidery, and you can really feel just how high-quality it is in person. Its currently on sale and I was so tempted but I’m not comfortable enough in myself to buy it. Before I splash out on a Ted Baker dress I want to lose a lot of weight so unfortunately, this ridiculously beautiful dress won’t be mine anytime soon.
I’ve been searching for months for a playsuit that doesn’t have an open back or show an obscene amount of cleavage and here it is! This playsuit is very pretty, I really like the sleeves and the pattern, again I’m not sure if the high neck will suit me but I’d be willing to give it a go.
I’ve been debating back and forth on whether I should get this bag or not. I really love it, I think it’s adorable and will be great for summer, plus Alice is one of my all-time favourite characters! The only reason I haven’t bought it yet is that I don’t live near a Cath Kidston and I’d want to see it in person first.
Thanks for reading, that’s everything on my wishlist this year! Which item is your favourite?
