My Travel Bucket List
With it being January all I can think about is holiday’s and where I want to travel to next. I’ve been to quite a few places in my lifetime, Paris, Amsterdam, Greece, Vienna, Las Vegas, San Francisco and more, but it’s been a while since my last holiday and I’m itching to get away. These places are the top of my very long travel bucket list and hopefully I’ll get to visit some of them over the next few years!
I’ve wanted to go to Italy for the longest time! It looks so beautiful and I imagine the food will be amazing. Pizza and pasta all day every day? Yes please! I’d love to see the views in Sorrento, experience the gondola’s in Venice, shop in Rome and Milan and see Pompeii. There’s so much I’d want to do here! My next big holiday will most definitely have to be Italy.
I’ve been to Paris quite a number of times and know the city fairly well, enough to not need maps or directions to get around which I’m pretty proud of! So I’m not sure if I can really include this on a bucket list but I desperately want to go back. My boyfriend and I are thinking about doing a long weekend getaway here possibly in the summer. I have such fond memories of this city, drinking wine in a bar by the Eiffel Tower, shopping in Champs De Elysee, seeing the Mona Lisa and being surprised at how tiny it actually is and of course Disneyland! Disneyland is my favourite place on earth, I’ve waltzed with Mickey and was bowed to by Buzz Lightyear, it’s imperative that I go back soon.
New York is a place I’ve always dreamed of visiting. I feel like it’d be extremely exhausting and overwhelming but incredible too. I’d definitely have to live like Blair Waldorf for a day and visit the Tiffany’s on 5th Avenue and see a show on Broadway!
If I ever get married I feel like I’d want my honeymoon here. The beaches look stunning and it seems like such a perfect place to relax and explore. I’d like to do things like see volcanoes, learn about the islands history and go hiking, but more than likely I’ll be sitting on the beach with a cocktail in one hand and a book in the other.
My uncle and his family have been to Lapland several times and I’ve always been so jealous! I would love to meet Santa and spend the night in an igloo and maybe even see the Northern Lights if I’m lucky. It really is a winter wonderland and it’d be such a magical place to visit at Christmas!
Have you been to any of these places?
