What I’ve Been Watching in Lockdown 2.0

If there’s ever a time to binge-watch a bunch of TV, lockdown is it! As I ended up taking 3 weeks off work just as the lockdown happened, I’ve spent a lot of time just watching TV. So, here’s what I’ve been watching in Lockdown 2.0:

Parks and Recreation

There’s no denying that we’re all in need of some light-hearted relief and Parks and Rec is the perfect show for it. It’s silly, funny, easy to watch and has some really lovable characters. Even the annoying characters have lovable qualities to them haha. If you enjoyed the US Office then you’d probably like this too as the structure of the show is very similar.

Grey’s Anatomy

Yup. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and started watching the majorly hyped about Grey’s Anatomy. Long story short? I get the hype. It’s seriously addicting! In just 2/3 weeks I’ve watched 5 whole seasons haha. We’ve just recently started season 6 and still love it just as much. If you’re looking for something dramatic, a little gory, with hints of romance and humour then this is a great show for you! With 17 seasons too it’ll definitely keep you occupied.

Dash & Lily

Dash and Lily is an American romantic comedy that has recently been added to Netflix. With 8 episodes this show is ideal if you’re looking for a quick and easy watch that’s festively cheesy. It’s a classic opposite attract story with plenty of humour, drama and holiday cheer. It’s a very predictable show but it’s also comforting and worth a watch, especially if you read the book.

The Crown

Season 4 of The Crown was recently released which I was very excited for! This highly anticipated season features both Princess Diana and Margaret Thatcher which everyone was interested to see. Of course, there have been many speculations on whether this show is accurate or dramatised, but even still, the relationship between Charles and Diana was so wrong on so many levels. Whether you’re interested in the Royal Family or not, The Crown is a fascinating watch.

Let me know if you’ve watched any of these shows or what you’ve been watching during Lockdown 2.0.
