I love reading Anti Haul posts! I think it’s so interesting to see what products people aren’t interested in buying and their reasons behind it. So today I thought I would write one of my own, as there are loads of brands and products people rave about that I’m jut not interested in.
If you enjoy this kind of post then give it like and I may do more of them in the future. Also I will love you forever if you subscribe to my blog, I post every Saturday morning 🙂
Before starting I just want to say that I do not mean to offend anyone who like these products/brands. It’s all just my opinion and preference, and ultimately a bit of fun, so please don’t take anything to heart.
Jeffree Star:
I’m not going to lie, I have been very tempted to buy one of his highlighters, they do look amazing, but with all the drama and controversy surrounding him I just cannot bring myself to support him or his brand. Not only does he have a racist past, which I know he’s apologised for but that doesn’t make it okay, he also comes across as a bully. There have been several instances where fans haven’t liked a certain product of his and he’s said some very rude things to those people out of anger. I understand he’s protective of his brand that he’s worked very hard on, but he just seems unprofessional, disrespectful and cruel. I can’t give my money or support to someone who behaves in that way, no matter how good his products look.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette:
A couple of months ago I nearly bought the Chocolate Bar palette from the Debenhams website purely because of the hype and novelty of it. I wasn’t really that blown away by the colours but everyone was loving this palette and I wanted to try it myself. While my boyfriend and I were on a date night in Bath I happened to come across a Debenhams that stocked Too Faced, so I went in very quickly to swatch the palette. I was really disappointed with the pigment of these shadows, they were faded, patchy and the colours really weren’t for me, I also was not a fan of the smell. I’m glad I didn’t spend £39 on this palette because I never would’ve used it.
Kylie Cosmetics:
I don’t like the Kardahsians/Jenners. There, I said it, please don’t hate me. I feel like this is a very unpopular opinion as everyone is obsessed with them, but I just don’t get the hype. When I think of role models or inspiring women I think of Audrey Hepburn, J.K Rowling, Michelle Obama, Emilia in Othello, but never the Kardashians. Since I’m not a fan I don’t want to support this family by buying their overpriced makeup, not only are the actual products expensive but when you include shipping to the UK and the possible custom charges it’s just not worth it, especially when there are so many other great lipsticks and eye shadows available.
KKW Contour Sticks:
Moving on from Kylie to Kim, the reason I won’t be buying the contour sticks is pretty much the same reason as Kylie Cosmetics, but I also think these products just look bad. There have been quite a few bad reviews of the contour shades not being dark enough for deeper skin tones, the highlight not being as intense as people were expecting and the sponge applicator being a complete waste of time. Personally I really hate the packaging too, I feel like it just looks cheap and something you would find in the drugstore rather than a high end brand.
Morphe Eyeshadow Palettes:
Lastly on this list are the Morphe eyeshadow palettes. I do understand why people like these, they’re cheap, you get a lot of products and they’re supposedly good quality but they just don’t interest me at all. I have never seen a bad review for these palettes, and while some people may think that’s a good thing, to me it’s strange as no product is perfect or suits everyone. The palette itself is massive too and there’s no way it will fit on my makeup desk amongst all the other products, and while there are a lot of eyeshadows most of them are very similar and I just don’t need that many variations of one colour.
I hope you liked this post, let me know in the comments what would be on your Anti Haul list and your thoughts on the products I chose to put in mine, I would love to hear your opinions. Also follow me on Instagram and Twitter to keep up to date with everything, I will of course follow back.

I agree with the KKW products! I would ever purchase any of this either.
As for the Jeffree star, I think he’s good but I don’t really like the way he thinks either and couldn’t support that!
Great post, I am thinking of doing one of these x

Huda Beauty is one brand which does nothing for me, ditto Tarte and anything to do with the nauseous Kardashians as well. Great post, by the way!
